WE ARE HOME!!! Livi came home today with the help of home health care because she is still on her I.V. of TPN(Total Parental Nutrition). She will be on it until we can get her caloric intake back up to normal. (Her diet is still low-non fat...I'm open to suggestions.) It will be a while, possibly a couple of months, but it's a very at home friendly set-up. The nurses came to our place today with all the supplies and showed us how to hook her up and do everything we need to do. The doctors got the TPN down to only 14 hours a day so during the day she can be "hep-locked" (not attached to anything), although the needle will stay in her port.
There is lots to be said, and great pictures to be shared. I want to do her homecoming post right, which means it may take a little while, so...stay tuned.

This is GREAT news!!! I am soooooo happy for all of you. I will anxiously await the 'homecoming post'. I'm sure Aaron is thrilled to have his big sister home again. Just remember...when you see all those fireworks lighting up the night sky and you hear the explosions that accompany the fireworks Friday night...remember that each one is in celebration of YOU and your coming home!! I will think of you each time I see and hear the fireworks clear up here, too!! The whole country is celebrating Livi!!!
