Condition Remains Critical

Aside from Acute Liver Failure, Livi has remained stable throughout yesterday and this morning – her condition hasn’t gotten better or worse. The doctors took some time yesterday to explain the liver failure and how the liver works. While liver failure is critical the liver is capable of regeneration of lost tissue. Your body only needs a small working portion of the liver to survive. She is still on the same medications and under the same 24 hour nurse care. Right now they are trying to keep her temperature regulated.

Her hair has started falling out. She lost quite a bit of it today. If you’re wondering how Livi is going to feel when she wakes up and realizes she has lost her hair, surprisingly she will be glad. Ever since she found out she was going to lose it she has been waiting for it, surprised every morning that it was still there. Just a week ago from Saturday she said, “Hurry up hair, fall out”.

We’ll keep you updated with any changes to her condition.

Hey guys. We're still praying for Livi, and all of you. I don't know if you've noticed, but there have been 500 visitors to the site since yesterday. That could be partly me checking back every hour, but a lot of people are thinking of you, praying for you, and checking in on you. You are loved.

Hi guys! I am a friend of Tammy Border's & I just heard about your situation w/Livi. I can't beleive all that you've gone through and are going through. I feel for you as I have a 3 1/2 year old little girl and seeing the pics of Livi reminded me of my little girl. She is blessed to have you as her parents. Children have connections to God and heaven that we don't understand. They are so pure and innocent and special. You have to know that Livi is an incredibly valiant spirit to have been given all of these earthly challenges in her little life right now. We are the lucky ones who get to love them and care for them. Shower her with love always, give her kisses frequently, hold her and sing her lullabies. I am going to put her name on the prayer rolls of the Bountiful, JOrdan River, and Salt Lake Temples tomorrow. I am praying for you and thinking of you all the time.
Love, Susan Green

Missaroo, I know you can't read this right now but soon you will and you will be able to know how much I love you. Miss, you have to get well soon so we can play. Your mom is going to disinfect Missaroo 2 so she can climb in bed with you since I can't. Miss, I still think you're the best. Love ya Missarooni!
