The Prisma Machine

Last night the Prisma machine kept shutting down due to blood clots. They think Olivia developed a clot in her catheter. They decided to give her some medication to help break up the clot so that they can get her back on the Prisma machine. Dr. Bernstein was planning on doing a bone marrow and spinal tap this morning but because of the complications last night they are going to wait till tonight and reevaluate.

I am so amazed at how the life of one person, a person that you don't even know, can affect you so immensely & personally. Thank you for letting us into your lives and letting your experience be shared with others. It is through the sharing of difficult things we can experience God's help vicariously through others via prayers, thoughts, writing to you, & expressing love, etc. I am cheering you on and I know many others are as well. God bless, Susan Green

It was great to get to see you guys this morning at the hospital. Livi looked so much better than she did on Sunday. We're going to pray specifically that the doctors will be blessed and inspired to know what direction to take in treating Livi.

Hello Bill and Rachel ~ want you to know that we pray for you both often ...and are constantly praying for Olivia. We pray the Lord may see fit to restore her. With nine precious children of our own we cannot imagine how difficult this must be. I can only imagine you would do anything to trade places with her. We love you all. Kelly and Connie Spafford ...

Praying for a pain free day for Olivia and great news on the bone marrow.
Your family is a great example to all of us of faith and strength.
Little Olivia doesn't even realize what a good little missionary she is.
We love you guys! Can't wait to hear the good news.
